Last week, Booknik read books by Guillermo del Toro and Daniel Arnaud, analyzed the tumultuous biography of Ayn Rand, answered questions of the What? Where? When? quiz festival, inspected fateful photos, munched olives with gusto, wandered Venice, got captivated by the anime about heroic Young Pioneers, and cooked self-styled Turkish salad. In the meantime, Booknik Jr. consoled parents whose kids speak all languages at once, weaved a glass-bead fish, and learned new Hebrew words.

Last week, Booknik was reading Steve Martin, Dara Horn, and Yehuda Halevi, learning the principles of Israeli architecture, keeping vigil at the Mount of Olives, watching the new film by Jim Jarmusch, looking at New York buses, sympathizing with Raban Yochanan ben Zakkai, reciting poetry by Jacob Israël de Haan, scrutinizing portraits of Jewish men, training to slice veggies, marveling at astronaut Judith Reznik, dreading ghosts, and admiring the painting by Mikhail Vrubel. Moreover, the contest of holiday pictures of the Booknik not-especially-grown-up readers was announced.

Детский праздник Букника-младшего состоялся. Букник взрослый наблюдал за происходящим в «Проекте ОГИ» даже с некоторым изумлением, ну и конечно же, с радостью: всегда приятно увидеть много детей вместе, а уж когда они все в хорошем настроении – тем более!

Эфир программы на радио «Алеф» - в четверг 14 августа в 20.00 (средние волны, 612 кГц).
